The website has recently been updated!
We have now added a new page dedicated to our first major project: building a "Mountain bike skills park" in Aberfoyle. This will be the main place for finding out information associated with the project, and is also a handy place to leave any suggestions and comments on what you think it needs, and how it should operate.
So, spread the word, bring your friends, and help make this happen!
As said in our initial aims for 2012, we intended to create a small bike skills area in Aberfoyle for everyone to use. Well, we're making slow but steady progress! In the last few weeks, we had a trail designer over to assess some possible areas that we could build on. We've had to make sure we take into consideration that the park is for all ages, so we'll have a wide variety of sections of various different skills.
We should hopefully have some rough drawings up for consideration soon, after which we'll begin gaining community support and fund-raising.
If you would like to pledge your support to this project, leave a comment below, or go the extra mile and become a full supporter of the Bike Trossachs project.
